TyDi feat. Tania Zygar – Half Light
Pin ItHonestly, at times it is very hard to catch up with the vocals of a track and it is a much-known & less discussed fact of music.
Sometimes all it takes to create a hit vocal track is an engaging vocal sample, which is packed and parcelled to the listeners in different remixes. And rhetorically speaking, sometimes all you need is Max Graham to peak it all up.
tyDi, the sweet-faced Australian trance producer’s latest offering to the trance world exhibits a small vocal sample from Tania Zygar (one more prospect of a flourishing trance vocalist). The package comes with an Original Mix and Max Graham’s version.
Original Mix
Looking at tyDi’s potential to produce beautiful tunes; I’d give him full marks for experimenting with Tania’s vocals. They touch your heart and feel spacier as the melody progresses. He backs it all up with a no-so-crispy style of music. Music starts with heavy riffs and gives way to the vocals and carries a prodded feel. tyDi’s talent reflects during 3:57 when some new synths come in play. The most special part of the track (aside vocals) is then followed by guitars … and the beautiful vocals complete the mildly chilling listening experience. Subsequently, the track just totally grows on you!
Max Graham Remix
If tyDi’s version gave you a relaxed feel, where you’d just close your eyes and listen to it on your recliner, Max Graham’s version would instantly bring you on your feet. Such is the complacency of this tune. This remix adds a new spark to the original. The initial progression sounds aggressive and vocals begin with a choppy effect. The vocals sound excellent and full-of-life. There’s a point when they are played in subs, the highlight of this melody and making a huge way for the breakdown. And then… you could feel some synthy elements with choppy vocals leading the song to peaceful end.
Verdict
The highlight of entire package is the beautiful vocal patterns, which, I am sure will keep buzzing in our ears for a long time to come. tyDi has struck gold with a very ethical production as Max Graham’s superb revision glorifies the entire deal.
