Philippe El Sisi feat. Sue McLaren – The Last Hope
Pin ItPhilippe El Sisi is someone to really look after in the coming trance years. Testimony to the fact: his lineage of highly energetic style of productions, which is swinging the genre in the right direction. Hailing from Egypt, his music style exhibits the entrails of what we’ve already witnessed with Aly & Fila. If that’s how we see our music coming from the Egyptian side of this world, then we’re pretty happy with it! His latest melody comes as "The Last Hope" with Sue McLaren’s magnificently calming vocals.
Original Mix
As energetic as it gets, Philippe hasn;’ left any space to make this one a truly club material. Sue Mclaren may be a new name on the scene, but her vocals definitely ignite a lot of emotions and harmony. This further gets doubled up by a highly orthodox break down to disintegrate you with all that dancing. If DJs are anticipating sending the dance floor in frenzy, ignoring this tune would be a big mistake! Check out the brilliant break down.
Mohamed Ragab Remix
To make it a complete package, Philippe is accompanied by another Egyptian riser, Mohamed Ragab. The remix is nothing close to the original, but nevertheless, this should be the ideal deal – to innovate and turn it into something different. Unlike the original, the vocals here are a bit underlying and on a repetitive mode initially until the break down, where they emerge. Weaved in from a beautiful lead, the listening becomes a heartier experience. Break down witnesses a stretched out play of synths and the track gets back into its normal mode but slightly pacier with pounding beats.
Verdict
While the Original Mix is something to set your mood on fire and equals an energy drink, Mohamed Ragab is more balanced in terms of keeping the listening experience only to your earphones, while you cruise on a never-ending highway of dreams.
