Fei-Fei – Mosh Pit
Pin ItLove it or loathe it, trance is undergoing another change of style in 2011, with dubstep influencing more and more tracks. This style can go either horribly wrong or extremely well.
The ever innovative Fei-Fei’s latest monster "Mosh Pit", which has had huge support from all over the trance world and even debuted on Judge Jules’ Radio 1 show, has every ingredient to make a delicious rave meal.
Now as much as we all love trance with its euphoric break downs and orchestral input, it’s always nice to have a change, to keep things fresh. So don’t buy this expecting to hear that or any of that fluffy trance which is everywhere because "Mosh Pit", which follows up from her previous track "Fire Complex", has an even dirtier, darker sound.
The whole track is downright filthy, from the techy clicks, to the lead synth and the deep and dark dubstep wobble. This truly is a master class in how to fuse two genres together.
Though "Mosh Pit" may well be the name of the track I wouldn’t want to hear it live actually in a mosh pit, the adrenaline people may experience from hearing this could well cause bleeding from the eyes which could get messy! (of course that’s an exaggeration, but it is a very powerful sound).
I’m sure both old skool and new ravers alike will love this. A refreshing sound that sends you crazier than George Bush trying to speak cannot be snubbed!
4.5/5
