Pin ItGoosebumps! As I start this amazing melodic exploration of the extremely talented Marcello Pacheco aka DJ Eco’s new artist album ‘M(you)sic‘. Well! honestly it’s worth quoting *again* one of the famous statement made by the World #1 DJ about Eco, "I seriously don’t know how he does it. Everything this man is touching is turning into pure melodic gold." – Armin van Buuren.
Being a crazy melodic junkie since the beginning of Eco’s journey I am a constant follower of his bizarre art. What all massive gifts this young fellow has given to the trance lovers, "American Blues", "Lost Angles", "And We Fly Away", "Borealis", "Kids Of New York" goes on and on and on. In 2011 the project name Eco had another surprise for all of his fans and the trancefamily; a long waited artist album ‘M(you)sic‘. The album contains 17 tracks. In my honest opinion it’s an epic 80 minutes of journey in your own imagination world/space wherever you wanna dream off. Sharing the experience of my flight of ‘M(you)sic‘…
Put your seat belts on! The journey begins… "Intro" kicking off with hair raising psychedelic ambient melodies (reminds me of legendary Pink Floyd but in a true Eco style). Absolutely amazing transition to even realize, that you are moved onto the next tune cause "After All" it’s the very beautiful voice of Ms. Kerry Leva and string theory of Eco. OMG, it’s like some radio guy from 70s talking in the background (thumbs up for this) and our dreamy space ship reaches to the next hop in a "Wide Open" area. Experience the best "Architextures" in your imagination land (Part 1 – massive massive ambient sound & Part 2, I don’t know what style will you call that – D&B I guess). Get ready, close your eyes, imagination knows no boundaries and with "The Stream Turned Into Ocean’s" Eco patented melodies, sky is also no longer the limit (like the "Intro" this one also gets a personal 10/10).
The journey continues… with another stunning vocal tonic from Einat, "Breaking The Habit". I think if "Electric Poetry" wasn’t there I might have very well forgotten the term called poetry! xD Damn! Goosebumps again! Time to fly fast "Under Paper Skies", it has a very well link towards the end, which you will understand later.
Cruise control… shifting to another state of voyage with "Hellovators". Can you believe your ears! Killer guitar, yes it’s Eller van Buuren (the younger brother of Armin) teamed up with Eco for their brainchild "My Name Is You(th)". Hats off to the duo.
"Change The World" another huge tune makes its way into our journey leading to this absolute Eco IDENTITY tune "The Light In Your Eyes Went Out" (again a personal 10/10). "Mali" both parts "Going In" and "Going Up" gives a new meaning to this trip by speeding up our flight to the core of uplifting melodies and now as the countdown begins 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1… the flight finally approaches its ultimate destination "Over Paper Skies". Our mission is successful and we have reached our destination our own imaginary world. Thanks to DJ Eco and his collabs for making this real.
‘M(you)sic‘ is simply by far one of the best albums in the trance arena. A simple math 10 outta 10 for it. Don’t wanna talk much cause I am still living in my dream world which is gifted to me by Eco’s ‘M(you)sic‘.
