Hawkshaw pursued a solo career early on and wrote her first album, which ended up being produced by Mark Pritchard from Harmonic 313. Since then, her unique voice has been on demand by other acts in the electronica community like DJ Tiësto, who she sung vocals for and co-wrote on some of his tracks, such as "Just Be", "Walking On Clouds" and "Battleship Grey".
