Armada Music best dance label in the world – for the third year running
Pin ItLast night, during the annual International Dance Music Awards in Miami, Dutch record company Armada Music was awarded for ‘Best Global Record Label‘ for the third year in a row. Armin van Buuren received awards for ‘Best Global DJ‘, ‘Best Trance Track‘, ‘Best Full Length DJ Mix‘, ‘Best Podcast‘ and ‘Best Radio Mix Show‘. Maykel Piron, Managing Director and co-founder of Armada Music, prolonged his title as ‘Best Record Label Executive‘.
Armin van Buuren, who was voted number one in the DJ Mag Top 100 for the fourth year in a row as the first DJ ever, also received the IDMA award for ‘Best Global DJ‘. Besides that, his collaboration with Sophie Ellis-Bextor, "Not Giving Up On Love" was rewarded with the award for "Best Trance Track". A State Of Trance, his radio show that will reach its 10th birthday and 500th episode this year, got the award for ‘Best Radio Mix Show DJ‘ as well as ‘Best Podcast‘. His ‘A State of Trance 2010‘ compilation was awarded for ‘Best Full Length DJ Mix‘.
