Goodgreef will come screaming into 2012 on February 4 with its return to Tall Trees for one of the most exciting, jaw-dropping, trance packed, hard dance rammed, house jammed, star-studded dates in the North East’s history! This has been an event that’s been brewing for years and finally Goodgreef brings you one of the founding fathers, original innovators, big room controllers, the one and only Paul Oakenfold.
An absolute legend of epic proportions, the man behind the iconic Perfecto label, the Trance Godfather that brought you "Bullet In The Gun", Grammy Nominated and celebrated master of the trance-tastic fold. Paul Oakenfold has been one of the most prolific producers, DJs and scene leaders for well over three decades. There is no denying how successful this man is and we welcome him to make his Goodgreef debut.
Having carved his way through the first dance genre to ever spawn Mega Stars and modeling a sound that has become one of the most powerful and dominant ever produced, Paul Oakenfold will be presenting a very special Past, Present and Future set for his hotly anticipated Goodgreef inauguration. There’s very few that are qualified enough to be able to tackle this colossal task and tribute to the God of Trance but Oakie is without doubt one of them, prepare to worship!
The first in the series Paul Oakefold’s latest album concept ‘The Four Seasons‘ will be released on February 17, titled the ‘Winter Edition‘ and will showcase an 80 minute mix packed full of the hottest tracks from the Perfecto Fluoro roster of producers as well as the biggest records from Paul’s Winter Edition Live Shows which you will hear at this event!

Rising Norwegian superstar Ørjan Nielson makes his Goodgreef and North East debut for this event, bringing his chunky, groovy trance beats to fire up the crowd and show them exactly why the likes of Ferry Corsten, Armin van Buuren and Markus Schulz can’t get enough of his sound! The energy that emanates from Ørjan Nielson’s sets is enough to rival the Duracell Bunny!
Our homegrown Goodgreef talent Jordan Suckley is one of the most sort after young DJs on the circuit. His dedication to his outstanding production and unbelievable technical skills has seen the some of the most credible labels snap him up and the biggest gigs demand his attendance! Alongside the AWsum artist we have dished up Kidd Kaos, a no holds barred star on the hard dance scene who was nominate for best producer in the Hard Dance Awards 2011, he’s teamed up with the heavyweight Alex Kidd producing some of the freshest flavours, dirtiest beats and room shaking sounds in the 145 BPM realms and brings all this and more to our dance floor!
