Pin ItHalf Slovak and half Czech, this trance DJ & producer duo first joined forces while working on the ‘Orange Comrades EP‘ with amazing vocals by American singer Freedom Bremner and live guitar by Norbi Kovacs. The EP was signed and released on Swiss label Tool Records, and a smashing remix by Cressida & Reminder reached #13 in the Beatport Trance Top 100.
Their first star-like moment came with the support of their EP ‘Crypoint‘ by world #1 DJ Armin van Buuren in ASOT 484, Markus Schulz’s GDJB 452, Paul Oakenfold’s Planet Perfecto, Richard Durand’s ISOS 14 and many more. The ‘Crypoint EP‘ was released on Tool Records including a remix by German Euphonic based duo Stoneface & Terminal and quickly hit the #1 spot on Beatport Trance Top 100 sellers. This achievement got ‘Crypoint‘ into the ‘Armada Trance Top 100‘ as well and ‘Paul Oakenfold’s DJ Box‘ CD compilation.
This amazing success brought SHato & Paul Rockseek an exclusive 2 year contract from Tool / Afterglow Records and booking agency.
After great results of ‘Crypoint‘, SHato & Paul Rockseek layed down their hands in the studio again and created a breathtaking single "Wonderfooled" based on angelic vocals, a massive break down and pure music energy shining all the way out. The remix has been made by living legends – the Duderstadt brothers and the EP got instant support from Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten and also has been chosen by Above & Beyond as Record Of The Week in their radioshow Trance Around The World 369 and played again in episode 370 as well. SHato & Paul Rockseek are therefore the first Czech / Slovak producers to receive these prestigious recognitions.
The guys are also authors of several succesful mashups such as "We Won’t Find", which has been played in Judge Jules’s radioshow on BBC Radio 1.
Their monthly podcast ‘Wonderfool Sounds‘ delivers the best from trance and progressive releases including exclusive tracks, mashups and of course the Wonderfool Track Of The Month.
