Jaren Cerf - Vocal Enchantress

Jaren Cerf

Vocal Enchantress

27th January, 2008

2007 saw a lot of new trance vocalists arise. But Jaren's hot voice left the listeners and some top producers deeply astounded.

Jaren Voight, now known as Jaren Cerf, is married to producer Matt Cerf. Her intimacy with singing started at a tender age of 2, from where she grew into an influential voice by practicing yodeling. Her career took off after reconciling with Matt Cerf and Shawn Mitsika, two impressive trance producers.

Her vocal masterpieces include some pumping tunes like "Saved Again", "Me & You" and "Light The Skies". Listeners were in fact overdosed with these tunes in A State of trance episodes by Armin van Buuren, both in original and remixed versions which were also featured in 'A State Of Trance 2007', 'Armada At Ibiza - Summer 2007', 'Armind - The Collected 12" Mixes Vol. 2', 'Dancefloor Sessions', 'The World's Greatest Ibiza Clubmix' and several other compilations.

Ranging from progressive trance to progressive house, Jaren defines, "Music takes us through every type of emotion. It's a way for us to harness memories and make them more easily accessible."

Working with Matt and Shawn expanded new singing horizons for Jaren, where she went to collaborate with current no. 1 DJ, Armin van Buuren and getting remixed by Dash Berlin. Keep checking Jaren's MySpace for updates on new releases.
